Torino Conference 2016

Out of the “pure” research comfort zone: from specific company needs to shared multi-national solutions

A conference was held on 19 April 2016 at the Molecular Biotechnology Center of the University of Torino. The main focus was the analysis of the current market needs and how the academic world should take them into account while developing new training paths. A number of experts from European universities and biotech companies presented their opinion and took part in the round table: “Is the Market Mismatch Real?

The draft joint curriculum being developed within Biotech-Ma project was also presented and discussed, with a view to receiving comments and feedbacks from the professionals attending the conference.

The final and official version of the joint Master will be presented during the 2nd Biotech-Ma Multiplier Event, which will take place in Bologna around May 2017.
